Paradise Animal Hospital first opened its doors in 1987. Dr. Knittel
and his wife, Terha, purchased the practice in 1997. Terha serves
as office manager as well as being a private music teacher in
her studio, which is located next door to the practice. We currently
have three excellent staff members, Christina, Lisa & Shirley,
who are all able to perform the multiple tasks that are necessary
to serve our client's needs.
The majority of our patients are dogs and cats, but we have served
other species as patients such as ferrets, rabbits, reptiles,
small rodents and various bird species. Dr. Knittel has large
animal experience but limits his involvement to an advisory role
in most cases.
The most fulfilling aspect of operating our business is establishing
a long term relationship with our clients. We are able to share
in the bond that you have with your pet as well as developing
friendships that grow through the years.
